Amsterdam and Shanghai – 16 September 2021 – Solid Sands, the world leader in compiler and library testing and qualification technology, has announced a new strategic supplier in China. The agreement will see Shanghai-based Vision MC responsible for distribution of Solid Sands’ products across China.

Solid Sands used to do direct business within the Chinese market, establishing a loyal customer base. Vision MC joins established distributors for Solid Sands in India and Japan, providing complete coverage across the largest Asian markets.

Marianne Damstra, chief commercial officer at Solid Sands, explained: “We have a strong existing presence in China and appointing Vision MC is a logical next step to provide a local point of contact for companies seeking to enjoy the benefits of our products.”

“Vision MC is a well-known and highly respected company that already distributes on behalf of other leading software and technology brands in China, and we are confident of Vision MC’s ability to expand our presence in this vital, growing market.”

“With native Chinese speakers on staff, the Solid Sands team will continue to provide after-sales and technical support, allowing us to serve clients in their own language and supporting them in getting the most out of their investment.”

The Solid Sands range includes SuperTest, the acclaimed test and validation suite for C and C++ compilers and libraries; and the new SuperGuard Library Safety Qualification Suite, a requirements-based test suite for the C standard library.

Garrison Gu of Vision MC added: “We already distribute on behalf of a number of leading brands into sectors including transport and power generation. We are confident we can use our contacts and extensive market knowledge to support Solid Sands in developing and maximising its customer base here in China.”

Among the Chinese customers of Solid Sands is Huawei, from whom Zhu Qingping commented: “SuperTest classifies and organizes C language standards. Its test cases are clear. It is the perfect test suite for verifying the basic points of the C compiler.”
